weekly/unit plans
By Newbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Last year we had to turn in our plans weekly, but this year we can do it each week or by unit. I have found that doing them by unit saves me time each week, and my plans flow better.

Our plans aren't detailed, but they do have to have objectives, activities, and assessment outlined. It's more for adminstrators to know what's going on in our rooms, but it also helps in case we have to miss school for some reason.

I don't think it's an excessive request by the adminstration. I have found it helpful because I keep myself on track and always know what I'm going to do for the day. Also, I don't blame the administration for wanting to know what's going on in the classroom because it will help them support us if parents or anyone else have questions.
