Thank you for responding. I work with 20 kids by myself ,. . . full day Kindergarten. This year I have tried to implement centers during reading and math. I work with two groups per day during reading and two groups per day during math. The children do not switch centers. They stay in the same center for 20 -25 minutes working on a cut and paste activity that reflects a skill that we are learning (i.e. ordering numbers, letters, practicing sight words). I prepare 3 math and 3 reading centers every week. Each reading and math group meets with me two times every week. I am curious to how other teachers do it.
