I do the Mitten too, but I Don't like the Jan Brett version, to scary. I found the older near org. version

In conjuction with MLK bday, we do "family heritage" where we talk/eat about our students heritage, then we invite the students to bring in snacks from there heritage country. I make a BB with there pics and a string leading to where their heritage is (after polling the parents)
