army of angels
By aud

Clip to ScrapBook
One year I had a little boy who was leaving early for Christmas break. I was teaching first grade at the time and all the children wanted me to open his present before he left. It was a darling little pen with an angel on it. I (unknowlingly because this was my first year teaching first) made a big deal over it and told him how much I loved angels. Oh my goodness!!! I received 24 angels of varying sizes, shapes, colors, etc. One mother who was not very friendly that year, marched straight to my room the last morning before break, shoved a huge present in my face and told me that I had better like the gift because she had to drive all over town to find it. I didn't know what to say. Now, every Christmas when I see an angel I just start giggling.
