I think it is clear... By Kari

I think it is rather clear that you are one of those parents that I would NOT want in my classroom. I've encountered your type during my student teaching. The woman I encountered was extremely concerned about her son, which| is a good thing, however, she also babied him too much. The rest of the students in the classroom did not like him, which stemmed a bit from his babyish behavior. He yearned for attention, but the other students did not like him due to his immaturity and annoyance. His mother could not understand why the rest of his class did not like him. On the other side of the room was a student | | who had a parent who was the head of the gifted program. This student happened to be "gifted". The student had a superior attitude in the classroom and her mother acted all high and mighty as well due to her position. And just recently (3 years later), I heard that this parent asked a teacher to head a program because her daughter (my former student) liked that teacher. When the teacher turned her down, the parent bullied her. I guess what I am saying is that I hope your kids do not act as superior and arrogant as you do. You clearly and unapologetically have this attitude that your kids are superior and "deserve the best". I'm sincerely hoping they do not act out on the other "inferior" kids that are in the other classrooms with the unqualified teachers who do not have children of their own. I hope they never say things like "You are not as smart because your teacher is incompetent because she doesn't have kids." Hopefully, the do not know about your system of picking teachers. And not for nothing, but you are telling us that we are being rude in the same paragraph you say that you don't care if you offend people. That is a rather snobbish and closeminded path to take.
