I have been teaching a while and I am constantly amazed at the cool things that my coworkers do all the time.

The teachers on my team are really cool about sharing, although I have read here that some teachers don't want
to share anything.
Be patient. Teaching is so overwhelming that you can't possibly do everything in one year.
I generally take each year and ask myself, what do I want to do knew this year. Then I work on that.
Honestly, I have been teaching 5 years and I don't do anything the way that I did that first year, and I still have all sorts of things that I am going over to change

for the future.

I think that because you are interested in how others work, that shows you are willing to grow. I know some teachers that don't do anything different from year to year.
