What you describe has just happened to me last week. I got a sub call for a biology teacher and was told that my first period was free. I was thinking that I would have 90 minutes to prepare when a PE teacher came up to me and told me that the teacher I was subbing for was to sub for HIM first hour sooo...... goodby planning period and a halfway organized day. I got through it the best I could. You have to expect things like that.It doesn't make it right, but what can you do?
