Recently the girl's mom said she may get a reccommendation from special ed. I am not holding my breath. I told her last year she has a learning difference. It is pretty obvious, and it is not an attitude thing. At the end of her first year of k, she could write her name but get confused of naming the letters in her own name. She only confidently named numbers 1, 2 and 3, and guessed the rest. She recognises them in order. She is doing better, but not at good as I want to see. All her classmates entered K with a great grasp on numbers this year. I need help with this. Maybe I need to post on the special ed board.
