I have one worse...

I teach 5th grade and for Christmas we have a pizza party. Each child brings in $3 for pizza and drink that we get from a local place. Of course if a child doesn't bring in the money he/she still gets to participate.

Party day comes. I have 3 children that did not bring in their money - No problem - I pay their part. About 5 minutes before party time the parents of these students along with 4 youger siblings come into the room and stay until we serve the pizza. One of the parents actually had the nerve to ask how many pieces each one of them could have. I was so shocked I had no reply. I have learned that from now on we will have a "closed party time".
