A+ for Teachers
By Matthew

Clip to ScrapBook
I have all the respect in the world for teachers. My wife is a fantastic teacher and for 14 years, has put up with the most disrespectful, idiotic parents on the face of the earth. It's as though these parents have no jobs,
no lives, and set out to CREATE problems for teachers for their own pleasure or "venting."

My wife has taught at both the middle and elementary levels and as many of these teachers know, both levels are equally stressful. I mean, God forbid a parent should say, "THANK YOU" to a teacher.

As the saying goes, "Teacher's teach, they don't RAISE 'em." Too many parents see teachers as baby-sitters

and when their little trouble-making darlings get busted, they're the first to defend them. I'll laugh in 5-10 years when I see their bum kids muttering the words, "Want fries with that?" The majority of parents have no respect for hard-working teachers, education, and have no value system/consequences for their kids. It may sound harsh but I agree the majority of parents are "morons."
