I have had an hour of game day,
the students get to bring their board games, cards, ect to play.
My rules are: you must have at least 2 players.
After 30 minutes you switch games.
My class loved this and were good as gold.

a 15 minute cut and paste type of art project that is holiday related *I teach 3rd and pulled a 1st grade activity I had, let them have the markers and my students were thrilled.

Also,
I have taught them some fun paper and pencil games, and they have done those as a reward.
