Different cultures...
By AbbyLou

Clip to ScrapBook
Personally, I don't think dancing in line or rapping is deserving of this type of punishment. I can see if one does not come from the same type of culture, it could easily get on one's nerves. Dancing and singing is an expression, usually of happiness and unreleased energy. I, as a child, would be walking somberly down the street then all of a sudden I would think of something that thrilled me or made me happy. I would then skip and prance or laugh out loud. I'm sure I got on quite a few people's nerves but was it deserving of a swat on the behind? No. In some cultures, dancing is an appropriate response.
