Many years ago while student teaching on several occasions the principal "told" me I would be teaching the grade 3 class as the home room teacher was away. I guess he thought I could handle it and lucky for him there were no problems! I later connected he was very cheap. I WOULD NEVER EVER LEAVE MY STUDENTS WITH A NON-CERTIFIED TEACHER. This is no disrespect at you, you were a good sport. Big huge legal issues there. The only exceptions I make are if I need the assistance of a teacher aide.
