These are all great ideas. I really like to picture one. I had a similar experience a few years ago. However, the child really wanted to leave her bear with me. She was very firm about it although I could tell she also wanted to keep it. We decided that I would borrow it for the rest of the school year and keep it on my desk. On the last day of school she took it home.
