Back to the point
By Tired but loving it

Clip to ScrapBook
Every profession has its own world, jargon, culture, "rules". The real world is where you go when you are outside of work!

What a couple of you fine posters are forgetting is that we are on THE VENT board. That's why
we come here--to complain to people who understand and then to let it go.

Every profession has things to complain about and people who are difficult to work with. Just because any of us have things to complain about does not mean that we DON'T want to be here. On the contrary--we are here despite the problems and annoyances because it is ultimately the positives that we love and will

outweigh the negatives. Second career teachers had somewhere else to be, and still chose teaching.

So, let's not rag on people who are venting. You love your spouse but don't always like him/her--right?

Oh, and Joe...the only exception I'd have to your list is the part about looking busy. You must be better organized than I because I'm never caught up--I always look busy because I am. I little dazed and confused, perhaps, but always busy!
