Resource Room By Darlene

It is up to the team to designate how long they recieve resource. We have times that the Committee on Special Education (CSE) can choose from. I know my students have 40 min, 5 times a week. I base what they recieve on resource on by thier IEP goals. For example, I have 2 boys who have reading and writing goals, so they are grouped together. They are also designated to be serviced in a group no larger than 5 students.
For the other boy do you see him one on one or in a group. If he is by himself I'd do the majority of the time math and then work on Language Arts since he is reciveing instruction from his regular ed teacher.
