We actually just went on a field trip.....

To the court house. The kids loved it. We took a tour around the building. We got to sit in the court room, and the DA volvuntered some students to be able to be particiapte. The kids loved to be able to sit in the Judge's seat. My only concern is in third grade, we don't touch on the goverment system that much. I think the 4th and 5th graders would have benifited from it better. Although the long day, the kids still loved it and learnd a lot.
