We've all been there

I am sorry you are having such a hard time with these crazy people. As Kerry said we have all been there. There are parents who are definitely on a power trip. Recognize them for what they are and realize they would pull
this nonsense on anyone who was teaching their child. It is not personal. It has nothing to do with you. It took me a while to see this myself . Keep telling yourself this: It is not me. Last year I was a new teacher and I had a child who transfered into our school. Mom said she had never had a good teacher. That is a sign that it is not the teacher who is the problem. Long story

short I had problems with her last year and this year the fourth grade teacher had problems during the first weeks of school. They pulled her out of our school at the end of September because there apparently are no good teachers at our school either. This child has been in three schools in three years. It is sad for this child but her mother thinks that her "individuality" is cute but the child has issues. Keep your chin up.
