All I have to say is that if you want to give a gift to someone on CHristmas or xmas than you should. Gift giving is from the heart. My boyfriends family is Jewish and they celebrate gift giving on Christmas because its a beautiful thing to give. December 25 was not always CHristmas, but was once a pagan holiday. We christians took this holiday and made it ours. Along with Many symbols of Easter. As a Christian I would think that you would want people to celebrate CHristmas and in time come to know the true meaning of Christmas, but by denying someone that is quite unchristian. I don't think it is desrepectful to give a gift on CHristmas if you are Jewish.
