Clip to ScrapBook
one thing our pe teacher does (not necessarily when stuck in a classroom) is juggling with chiffon-type cloth scarves--quite a quiet activity!

she also does an activity called cups--lOUD activity! she now has "official"
cups with logos and little carrying cases--but i know that she started out with plastic "kegger" cups--you know, those plastic blue and red ones. i believe each kid has 6 cups--they have to stack them--3, then 2, then 1. see who does it fastest--i'm sure there other things she does with them....don't really know--she actually did this project with the classes a couple weeks ago when
they were "trapped" in a portable room when she was chased from the gym because of program stuff.

another pe teacher that we had used to come in and teach marbles! he took chalk (this was before our new carpet--we had old puke-colored carpet for quite a while) and drew circles on the floor and taught them marbles--they loved it! kids don't know how to play those old-fashioned games anymore--the ones they can play anywhere without any money!
