self-centered people
By Just me too

Clip to ScrapBook
I had to post because of what you said "they just dont take the time to ask how I am". I've determined that some people just do not understand that concept. For them, it's not about YOU or how YOU are doing -- it's about
THEM and most people like that don't even realize it. They just assume everyone wants to listen to them and never give a thought to LISTENING to someone else. Dont let it get you down. Your probably better off in the long run because becoming buddies mean you will then be forced to listen to them all time and they probably still wont ask how you are doing.

I once had a "friend"

like this. I cared about her a lot but quite frankly -- I eventually grew quite irritated listening to her talk all about her kids, her husband, her family issues, problems, yet she NEVER remember to say "And how are you doing?" It's almost like an afterthought.

Good luck to you. I am new at my school too and understand what you are going through.
