Mark, that seems like a pretty good idea for the class as a whole. I definitely will try it next time I'm called.

The school secretary showed me the DT (detention) forms and said not to use them unless I absolutely had to, so I assume that meant I could use them. Next time, I will probably enfore the "strike" rule for individual students, and will have DTs or in-school as the worst punishment. I'll clear that plan with the school secretary, principal, or teacher before I try to use it.
