I teach a wild lot of 25 of which 17 are boys. I love them dearly but I am tough. I have a 3 strike rule. One warning..."Name, please stop interrupting me, thank you." Second warning. Third time name goes on the board and they get 5 mintues (or whatever usually less) on the thinking chair.If that fails they do 5 minutes on THE WALL. I simply tell the teacher on duty and they spend 5 minutes on the wall outside. I dont like doing it and it is my last resort. Only one has been on the wall since September although many have sat on the chair. Controversial? Perhaps but I say mind your own business with opinions and do what works for you.
