That is right! If you find something that works, then use it! If it doesn't work then you have other options.

I myself do sit students out when it appropriate. I have other methods for dealing with other issue as they arrive, however, all in all, I don't have to do much of that because of the classsroom environment that I have established in the beginning. However, you always seem to have one like my little girl that has voodoo in the home and brings dead creatures to school to put in her desk.
