Also: Talk to the Hand
By Ed-U-k8-or

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a gardening glove. On the palm of it I have written "Talk to the Hand. On each finger, I have written a question:
Who? What? When? Where? Why? (you could add how? also to the palm) I put this on and tell them 'talk to the hand'. We go over each question and answer it according to our story. Then I give them a blank sheet of paper. On the front, then trace their hand. On the back, they trace their hand. On the front, they write the questions on their hand (on each finger). On the back, they answer the questions on each finger.(for a level book-we have level readers to go along with our story). We share them the next day.

When their mom or dad ask them what they have for homework, they love to answer"Talk to the Hand!"
