I think it is so funny that custodians seem to require so many of you to be out of the building so they can clean. Ours just vaccuums around us and goes about his business.

We don't have keys or anything but our principal actually told us that no one can do our job properly if we only work the contracted hours. We are almost expected to put in extra time. Obviously, he can never require it because of our contract language, but he can suggest it. All of the teachers in our building (well, most) put in extra hours anyway...there is just so much to do.
