Carrot might need to get some routines but you need to get some manners. She (or he) wasn't saying routines and procedures were stupid, s/he was saying the principal telling her/him to use them was stupid b/c apparently this teacher feels s/he has them. Sheesh. I agree that some kids don't have any regard for routines, procedures, rules, etc. Some kids are nuisances and so are their parents. I have had a kid in the past who didn't adhere to ANY routines or rules and it definitely wasn't MY fault or MY problem, it was the kid who happened to be very young behaviorally. He's now a 5th grader and according to his teachers from 3rd, 4th, and now 5th, he's exactly the same way.
