I totally agree with you "I agree 2" and Roo! If this works then by all means use it! None of my students want to miss out on recess so they work hard not to miss out! If a student is missing all the time, not getting| work done all the time, then you do need to investigate. There could be many reasons that they are not doing it. That is why I get to know my students up front. If there is an IEP or Behavior Contract, then I definitely abide by that. There may be reasons why. But for those that just plain ole won't do their work or think they are cute making everyone laugh, then they most definitely | |
will miss there recess! There isn't anything wrong with that. They don't just have to sit out though, they can run laps around the blacktop to get some exercise, but can't interact with anyone else.If it works, do it!
