Getting a sub

I can't believe that you have to get your own sub! We have a district person that has that job (of calling all subs for every school!) You just call her and she takes care of it. She calls the schools to let them know what subs will be in their building that day and for whom. That is ridiculous that you had to get out of your house, go to the school, and call your own sub! I usually email my plans to my team teacher. She prints it out and puts it on my desk for the sub. EASY!
