Carrot Top didn't say that she disliked her students just because she said they were the most awful she has ever taught. That is two totally different things. Carrot Top was saying they were the worst compared to any other class she/he has ever had. I agree that you shouldn't tell someone to shut up, but Carrot Top was not talking directly to the students, just making a point that they never hush! There is a difference.
