My son is also serving in Iraq. He sees the destruction and hatred generated by our presence. He is there because he wants to serve, however, he states we are hated and any work we do to build things up, our own troops destroy along with the people there. Hmmm... guess who I voted for? There are always two sides to each issue. I try to see both sides but, sadly, all I see is my son fighting a war he does not see as serving any good purpose at all. His children and grandchildren will still be paying for re-building what we so callously destroyed in the name of "freedom". I pray that we can undue what we are doing.
