Subbing - HS

I like to sub for grades 2 through 5 since I would actually get to teach. Working in three very different school districts, I only sub at the middle & high school level at one of the three districts -- the outer suburban SD where the students are cooperative & respectful. However, I usually do not prefer high school since it tends to be rather boring for me. I assigne the book work or worksheets to the class or play with the remote control for a video I see six times that day. As long as the students are not disruptive, uncooperative & disrespectful, I don't care what they do. At that age the students are responsible for their own actions.
But if you want or need an "easy" day then sub at the HS level.BSJ
