I am in MA. I subed in my daughters school Elem. level for the second time. THe kids were of the wall. I and the paraprofessional did the best we could that day. I brought in Polar Express and we listened to the tape,read
followed by a writing assignment. Like I said it went O.K. However, there were some who made it difficult for those who really were listening. I had to tell certain children please stop talking, raise your hand if you have a question. THese kids had no disapline! Overall, I am not there anymore, because the following week a parent told the principal that I pushed her child into

the childs chair. Apparently the little girl went home crying???? I never saw the little girl crying. I think she was mad because I didn't give her all the attention she wanted that day. I told her she needed to raise her had if she had a qestion. Yes, I did push some of the childrens chairs in to explain good handwriting skills. The paraprofessional didn't see me push her either. Overall, a report was written up about me and sent to the superindents office. The paraprofesswional did state she saw me put my hands on a little boy Jimmy. I said What? I was trying to comfront him because he missed his teacher! This whole think I feel was not handled the right way. I feel like crap. The principal made me feel like a bad person all week. I tried contacting the little girls parents however they made no attemt. Anotherwards, lets just forget I have feelings and just do the paperwork to cover the school. The principal is under a lot of pressure from the little girls parents. I think the principal could be afraid to get sued. The following day, the principal was as nice as can be to me. After I went and talked with the superindent about this he said he could'nt help me becasue I am not union. He told me to go back and talk with the principal. Naw the principal is as nice as can be. I asked her if her decession for me not to come back was a short decession or a long decession? SHe said it was a short decession. I'm not sure if I should go back and sub.? Is this how parents are these days ready to sue and hurt people? I've been hurt and never experienced anything like this in my life! I will have a hard time with this. Not to mention I will see these parents at local events and know them. Any advise?
