Obviously we're all here to get IDEAS on how to handle consequences to poor behavior. It seems we're all getting testy. So I motion that we START OVER and turn this into a sharing thread.

However, wht's difficult is that there are so many behaviors that require so many different consequences. I would be happy to share some examples of poor behavior and the consequences that ensue. If you give me some examples, I can offer what I do.

Now, for Responsive Classroom ... the home page is its advertisement "look" because it's a highly recognized and used program, so experienced RC teachers go there and know exactly what they are looking for straightaway mainly because we have been to RC-I and often
RC-II. For experienced RC users, books that are advertised on the home page, or whatever else, are things we're heard about or have from conferences and workshops we've attended. So I don't doubt that you might be confused as to what it is you're supposed to be finding.

When you go to the homepage, there is a table of contents bar, if you will, at the top ... at the end there is "Article Library." Click on that and it brings you to an easy search engine where you click on a subject that interests you (such as, Rules and Logical Consquences) and hit "submit." You will be brought to a variety of different reading selections that you can open. I

would be interested to hear what people think of RC. I LOVE it and this has been my most successful year yet. I highly recommend its use.
