Been There too

Clip to ScrapBook
I had this happen when a former administrator of mine made a hobby of bullying anyone she could.

You absolutely have a right to know, otherwise, legally it is simply "hear-say." I would document this and see my union representative
as a precaution. Your principal may be documenting against you.

How is your relationship with administration? They don't sound very professional because the first step in resolving this "problem" is talking to all parties allegedly involved.

Good Luck to you. Please do contact your union, even if only by phone. You have rights. Your principal needs to be reminded of that

and also of the fact that he/she cannot make false accusations and try to intimidate you.

In my opinion, most administrators are insecure, failed teachers. And they are even worse as administrators. Education is the only profession in the world where the WORSE you are in a position, the bigger the promotion you receive. I've never heard of a school superintendent with an IQ higher than his age.

Stay tough and stand your ground. Be firm but polite. And continue to do the excellent job you're doing. It sounds like your administrator is playing "head games" to see if he/she can get a reaction.

Please keep us posted.
