I was there...
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Right out of college I was offered a teaching job in a teeny Colorado town. I worded for year then moved to Denver when I married, thinking the big city would be easy as pie to get hired in. After going on several interviews
over the summer, I had to take a job teaching 'kindergarten' at a daycare. The whole year I went on interviews, Denver schools, suburbs, charter,... All told me either not enough experience (that was the biggie) or not the right fit. It was so frustrating and I was ready to give up when we decided to look out of state. I'm in Arizona now, in my second year here. This is really the last
place I want to be, but I love my job and I am teaching in a school, so I am much happier than at the daycare. Good luck to everyone still looking! I know how hard it is.
