Pros and Cons

First let me clarify, what you have done so far is not classroom experience, it is related work experience. This includes the jobs you are looking into. If it's money you are worried about, take the higher paying job.
I wouldn't take on a p/t job as a pre-school teacher only making $7/hr, it seems beneath you. I would personally try and get into the school districts if your goal is to work in the public school system. If you are going to be applying for teaching jobs after college, get to know people in the schools, make your face seen!!! This is really up to you and what is reasonable for you right
now. Most of our aides work full-time, but I don't know if you can do that since you are still in school. Take your time and think it out!

One con that I can say with certainty is that principal's and administrators do not see pre-school work as an equivalent to the public school work. Many do not count it as you having extra experience, at least from what I hear. Pre-school is considered another field, even though you are working with children. Then again, all schools are different and look for different experience. I would talk to others at your college that maybe know more about the schools in your area. Good Luck!
