Kids are hilarious! A while ago, I was observing in a 1st grade classroom, and the teacher was quite annoyed with the way the students kept chattering. Finally, she told the class that from now on that she was going to utilize the "talk to the hand gesture" when students interrupted her. Naturally, she didn't say it in those words, however she did ask if everyone understood what would happen to them. Well, one student did not. She had a distraught look on her face, when she raised her hand and asked "Am I going to go blind?" I almost fell out of my seat. LOL!
