We do have several older teachers. Many (NOT all but many) really gave her a hard time. They didn't like all the things she came in and changed/added. It wasn't her but the grant that said we had to do those things. Our LL came from our system but a different school so she didn't write the grant. She was a classroom teacher who went back and got a degree as a Reading Specialist. Things finally settled down after a while when they realized, this is the way it has to be. We must follow the guidelines. If you can't be a team player, then leave but our LL was REALLY nice to all the teachers (even the ones that were really ugly to her!!)I wish you lots of luck!
