I just wanted to let you know that I do give my students (these in particular) LOTS of love, attention, etc.! My kids love me and I love them. Not bragging, but I am the most requested teacher in my grade because my classroom is so student directed and kids are the main focus. I would need to have several people's hands to count the many people that have been brought into my classroom to learn new things. Like I said, I am NOT bragging it is just a fact to dispute the misconception that I don't give these students the time and attention they so greatly need. Being corrected, and having to face a consequence is LOVE! tough love.just wanted to clear that up!
