Responsive Classroom ...
By Kerry

Clip to ScrapBook
is definitely not a site loaded w/ ads. There are so many logical consequences suggested. It's a wonderful website. It's www.responsiveclassroom.org. If you go to articles, there's a WEALTH of information. Of course, this is a program that has books, workshops, and conferences, but the website, for people who are interested in using the Responsive Classroom Model, is a great place to start. It is used all across the country and in my opinion, truly works.

In regards to recess, I don't think it's an answer to an underlying issue, but I also don't condemn anyone who institutes loss of recess ... I work with a few teachers who do that. Like I said, it's a personal perogative.
