recess
By Leigh

Clip to ScrapBook
i too take recess away. if they make the choice to "play" in class and act up, then they have had their playtime. that is definitely "punishment fitting the crime"!!

lighten up kerry, it isn't worth getting so worked
up because someone doesn't share your view. i think she/he(absolutely) was trying to say that those already on the post had asked her to share her "other" consequences that do fit the "crime". "C" asked her to share already. NO one has even offered alternatives, so i have to wonder too, what other consequences do they have? we can all learn, so maybe if someone would actually share WHAT
they do, we might like those options. so far no one has helped us which is what this board is for.

by the way, i don't have that many sitting out at recess because they DO want to play and make a choice to ask right in class! it has worked for me!
