I teach in KC, but in the parochial schools. I have heard nothing but bad things about the KCMO public schools. How do they get anyone to work for them? Granted, I'd probably make more money teaching public, but I am so happy and have had nothing but positive experiences in the catholic schools down here. I'm sorry you are having so many problems, but just remember, there are plenty of GOOD teaching jobs down here. I have heard wonderful things about most of the suburbs and I have nothing but good things to say bout the parochial
