I wasn't actually mean, and I don't know where you got that idea from (besides the fact that I said I was mean, lol!). No, I am now picturing myself in your eyes, throwing things and screaming and calling students names! I was just strict, I never raised my voice, I told them to quiet down as soon as I heard them talking, I was perfectly reasonable and now that I have had more time to think about it, I would not accept any less from them.
Have you had an experience like that or something? I would like to see someone try to say I was "mean" - there was not a single thing that I did that could be considered mean by any sane person.
