I got observed last week. I did a cute lesson on the five senses. Use the story, the brave little monster. In the story, the monster uses all of his senses. Have little cards made up for each student (eye, ear, tongue, nose, hand). Then as you are reading the story, have the students hold up the card of the sense the monster is using. It was adorable!! The students were also engaged throughout the story b/c they were waiting to see the next sense. Also bring in things (cracker, bell, cotton). Have them pick it from a bag and use their senses to find out what it is. Have them talk about the sense they used and how they knew which one it was. Good luck!
