"All About Me" Brochures

In my 7th grade communications class, the students create what is called an "All About Me" brochure which incorporates many of the elements that you mentioned. Though this was done with 7th grade, it could easily be modified| for younger grades. Basically you give the students some different topics to choose from (many of the ideas you listed above would be great) and then they write them up and put them into a brochure format and include photographs and/or any other art pieces they would like. term project, so be prepared to spend several classes on it. In my class, the students presented their brochures with a speech at the end. You could do a similar presentation format, just less formal. My students love this project and I thought it sounded close to some of the ideas that you had mentioned. Hope it helps!
