Book Search
By Pam

Clip to ScrapBook
One of the best on-line book search tools is Follett.com. All teachers, college students, librarians have access to this. After you register, click on School/Library resources. At the search window type in your query: Christmas. You will get a list (yes, in this case, a really LONG one) of books on the topic. What is NEAT is the extra information included: grade level, whether or not it is an AR book, AND in most cases book reviews by very reliable resources.

(NOTE: One of my favorites [that you could read aloud] is The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever. If you allow it in your room, these kiddos could buddy read a chapter a day during DEAR time or as part of Reader's Workshop.)

Good hunting!
