Easier/harder

I have been teaching for 16 years now and the job will get easier. With time and experience comes confidence and that in itself is a victory. For myself, the job gets harder because of the pressure that I put on myself to| become a better teacher. I am continually trying to reach my students and change the material each year so that I still find it interesting and exciting. In all of the years that I have taught I have never had one five day week that I was completely pleased with my performance and I doubt that I ever will. Don't be so hard on yourself or your students. Some days will be stellar and you | |
will feel great about it, other days you will only be pleased with a portion of your day. The important thing is to enjoy those moments when your light bulb goes on at the same time as your students!!
