producers and consumers

This might be kind of late for you, but we're doing a Santa's workshop thing.

I'm dividing my class into four groups. Each group will be responsible for creating a project. They will get "paid" for how they work and there will be a quality control inspection. At the end of the week, each child will get to spend their Santa Bucks on whatever they like. The better products will be priced higher, etc. I think it will show supply and demand, producers vs. consumers, and you earn what you work for. I think it will be a good lesson and a lot of fun.
