gifts

Clip to ScrapBook
Might be a bit late for this year but I often get something through our Scholastic Book Clubs--they often offer a free book with certain amount of orders for each student in your class. This year it was a book of the most
influential people--pretty cool paperback. Another year it was a writer's handbook. Then I usually use Oriental Trading to order some pencils or something to go with the book. I package the whole thing in a gift bag with a few holiday candies or candy canes. Voila, economical gift.

Also, check out your local dollar stores. They are a great source for rewards and gifts but you have to

hit it right.

All else fails, kids that age love to get a gift certificate to Baskin Robbins or Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds. The local places near my school have offered us package deals when we approached the manager. It is worth asking.

Good Luck
Shana
